Topic: SVN External with bad url

Quick question......

script/plugin install -x svn://badurlgoeshere/trunk

Now everytime I try to do an svn update I just get this....

Fetching external item into 'vendor/plugins/XXXXXX'
svn: URL 'svn://badurlgoeshere/trunk' doesn't exist

How do I delete or get it to cancel from doing the svn external on the bad svn url?

Thanks for the help.

Re: SVN External with bad url

Hey Sam.

Navigate to the root of your project and issue this command:

svn propedit svn:externals vendor/plugins

This should open a window containing a list of your external plugins in your default text editor for Subversion.  Delete the line with the bad URL, or edit the URL in question.

I'd highly recommend you look into using Piston to manage your plugins though.  It makes life much easier for sharing your code, as well as managing plugins whose repository fails to respond some days.
