Topic: Adding Repository on MacOS X fails

I am trying to add the techno-weenie.net repository.  Here is what I am doing and what I am getting.

Jasons-Laptop:~/Documents/rubyapps/ruby_app jason$ script/plugin source http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/
failed: http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/
Added 0 repositories.

I even tried running it with sudo and that didn't help because I thought it was permissions issue.

The only thing I can add is I am sitting in Panera connected with their wireless thru my work VPN Of course I don't think that has anything to do with it because I have never had problems before doing anything but I thought I would throw it in.

Thanks for any help.

Re: Adding Repository on MacOS X fails

Not sure why you have a problem, but to check if it is a connection problem, try this:

baci:~ mikel$ svn list http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/

It should give you all the directories of the repository.  Like so:

baci:~/wise mikel$ svn list http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/
active_record_context/
acts_as_attachment/
acts_as_authenticated/
acts_as_draftable/
acts_as_paranoid/
acts_as_versioned/
attachment_fu/
calculations/
csrf_killer/
date_slider/
dev_mode_performance_fixes/
dialog_helper/
exception_logger/
expiring_attr_reader/
filtered_column/
filtered_column_code_macro/
filtered_column_flickr_macro/
gems/
json_for_rails/
labeled_form_helper/
migrate_ext/
permalink_fu/
refactor/
referenced_page_caching/
resource_generator/
restful_authentication/
routing_navigator/
sentry/
simply_bdd/
tags/
test_spec_on_rails/
us_states/
white_list/
white_list_formatted_content/
xml_simple_doctype_fix/

If you don't get that, then look to connection or DNS issues.

Re: Adding Repository on MacOS X fails

Thank you for the response.

Well I did the:

svn list http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins

and it produced the list but I am still getting the same error as above when I do the:

script/plugin source http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins/

Re: Adding Repository on MacOS X fails

Try:

script/plugin source http://svn.techno-weenie.net/projects/plugins

There was a bug in track about this (leave the trailing slash off)
