Topic: rake db:migrate doesn't work anymore

Up to now, i had no problems with my migrations and rake (rake db:migrate). Today, i got a project from a svn repository, but i can't do "rake db:migrate":
"rake aborted!
No Rakefile found (looking for: rakefile, Rakefile, rakefile.rb, Rakefile.rb)
/opt/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/rake-0.7.1/lib/rake.rb:1822:in `load_rakefile'
(See full trace by running task with --trace)"
I am in the right directory - what can be wrong?

Re: rake db:migrate doesn't work anymore

There should be a file called Rakefile at the root of your rails project. Perhaps it wasn't added to the SVN repository. here's what mine has in it:

# Add your own tasks in files placed in lib/tasks ending in .rake,
# for example lib/tasks/capistrano.rake, and they will automatically be available to Rake.

require(File.join(File.dirname(__FILE__), 'config', 'boot'))

require 'rake'
require 'rake/testtask'
require 'rake/rdoctask'

require 'tasks/rails'

Try generating a new rails project and copying the file across.
