Topic: Rails My Sql Error

Hi people,

I work in the environment of Rails 2.3.2 and Ruby 1.8.6..
I very recently updated to this newest rails version and because of the my-sql not supporting in this version I installed the mysql 2.7.3 gems too.. But now the migrations are not working..
this is the error which it's giving

rake aborted!
undefined method `each' for #<Mysql:0x2c82e98>

(See full trace by running task with --trace)
rake aborted!
Mysql::Error: Commands out of sync; you can't run this command now: SHOW TABLES

(See full trace by running task with --trace)

and this is the output it generates in the schema file
ActiveRecord::Schema.define() do

anyone knows what is this error? Pls reply..!!!
