Topic: restful-authentication

Hi Everybody,

I'm having some problems to get the restful-authentication plugin working properly.

What I did:
rails plugin install git://github.com/Satish/restful-authentication.git restful_authentication
rails g authenticated user sessions

Then I opent the sessions_controller and the users_controller and changed:
  # Be sure to include AuthenticationSystem in Application Controller instead
  include AuthenticatedSystem

to:
  # Be sure to include AuthenticationSystem in Application Controller instead
  # include AuthenticatedSystem

Then I added the include to the application_controller, like this:
class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base
  protect_from_forgery
  include AuthenticatedSystem
end

Now I'm getting this error: uninitialized constant ApplicationController::AuthenticatedSystem

Source: https://github.com/Satish/restful-authentication

I'm working with Rails 3.0.3

I hope someone can push me in the right direction wink

Re: restful-authentication

You should not of commented out the include AuthenticatedSystem line.

Joe got a job, on the day shift, at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snout of a fully charged icing anointment utensil.

Thats not the problem, I'm getting the same error. I commented it out because when you include it in the application_controller, I don't need to include it again in the sessions_controller and the users_controller. But where ever i make the include, the error stays the same...

Re: restful-authentication

Have you resolved this issue? I'm having the same problem.
