Topic: Got a few questions about returning to rails...

Hi folks,

i'm currently trying to return to ruby and rails and realize that i totaly lost the connection and i'm not really up to date ;-)
I have a few questions maybe someone can help me out :-)

- Is there a Site which aggregats free and popular rails projects? Like Blog engines or bulletin boards?
- Are there in general any good resources which keep you up to date about new cool libs and stuff like that?
- Since I switched wo Windows I'm searching for a nice Editor/IDE to use for Ruby/Rails stuff. Any recommendations?
Netbeans? Aptana? others?

It would be great if someone could help me a bit getting back on rails ;-)

Re: Got a few questions about returning to rails...

For editors, I use netbeans (but not use shortcuts for server/generate etc... bundled in).
I'd like to try RubyMine cause it integrates git and redmine interface. It also seems to provide a better understanding of ruby language and a better auto-complete. My problem is: it's not free.
