Topic: installing ImageMagic and rmagick on CentOS 5.5 [SOLVED]

so i had some trouble doing this and after searching around looks like other are too. I have finally figured it out and its so easy i want to cry...

since yum install ImageMagic installs a version that is way too old, we can use that. but heres what you do:

# cd /usr/local

# wget
# wget

# rpm -i ImageMagick-6.6.7-10.x86_64.rpm
# rpm -i ImageMagick-devel-6.6.7-10.x86_64.rpm

# sudo gem install rmagick

Hope this helps some one!
