Re: Post your Rails site/app here

URL: http://www.landorslum.com
Purpose: Students and other renters can rate their landlords and tell stories about their renting experiences.

Thanks to everyone who helped me learn rails and get this project off of the ground smile

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

Just launched:

URL: http://www.getdesklamp.com
Purpose: Management system for service based organisation (web design/development studios mainly but would work for anything)

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

http://hollastar.com a celebrity news/pic/video posting site

http://h2daily.net a hiphop news/pic/video posting site

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

I have everything ready but have password protected the site as i havent got the company registered and havent setup legal stuff. But you can still look at demo and features on my blog
URL:  http://voifede.wordpress.com
Purpose-->A job portal+Locator+Ad platform
Job portal with a difference where in jobs show up only to qualified people. Most of time we waste time looking at 1000s of job profiles. Instead i am making effort to see that u view jobs that u qualify for.
Locator is more like after you get a job, its easier for you to relocate as  you can study neighbourhood etc
Ad platform which is user friendly and easy to create ads and ppl who participate in these ads may get an opportunity to get gifts big_smile

Nice, how many hours did it take to create?

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

Just built a website: http://www.freezzo.com in rails.

Took me a few hours to put that together. I wanted something that would help with linking to websites that have since been removed or deleted but you still want to access the infromation. Hopefully it will serve the purpose its intended for. Feel free to use if if you'd like.

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

Veeeeery simple, but I'm happy with how it's coming along.

Thistle - A tumblelog application.

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

Fine Print Knowledge Center

An educational resource for aspiring printers and designers interested in print.

The backend CMS that runs it is all Rails (and quite a bit of the code has been posted on this forum)

Thanks to all those who helped out! smile

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

Hi guys, just launched my first Rails application so would appreciate feedback, especially from the experts.

http://www.thebigwordproject.com

It's a viral idea to do with redefining words. You pick a word and link it to your website. Your website is then the new definition. Simple.

Feel free to buy some words too - at this point in time 'ruby' and 'rails' are still available :-)

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

URL:http://www.subreview.com
Purpose: A review site for world cinema films, video games and gadgets. Basically lets anyone add new items and then review/rate them.

All the ratings are based on emotions which make it a bit different your standard review site.
If anyone watches world cinema films or has a gadget/game they want to add/review please feel free to sign up.

Re: Post your Rails site/app here

URL: http://thinkrefresh.com/
Purpose: A free Rails screencast site, with an emphasis on techniques rather than learning code (peepcode.com and railscasts.com do a mighty fine job of doing that, don't want to needlessly copy them). I have only just started, but will be releasing them weekly.

ThinkRefresh - Free Rails Techniques Screencasts
