Topic: ruby gems error

I am currently running Rails 1.2.1 and Ruby 1.8.5 with Rubygems 0.9.3

When trying to run:
ruby script/generate scaffold_resource
I get the following error:

c:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `gem_original_require': no such file to load -- active_resource (MissingSourceFile)

I've looked in:
c:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb
and I don't see a problem...

Any thoughts?  Googling for the answer didn't help me much either.  Thanks all.

Re: ruby gems error

hmm, I didn't think that required active resource be installed. Try updating your rails install. If that doesn't work, you may need to install active resource directly.

sudo gem install activeresource

there might be a dash in there or something.

Re: ruby gems error

okay, so I still don't know what's going on, or what I did, but somehow I got things working... (I really wish I knew what was going on).

I edited my environment.rb to be 1.2.3 rather than 1.2.1

I did a rake rails:freeze:edge TAG=rel_1-2-3

Now, when I type rails -v I get this:
c:0:Warning: require_gem is obsolete.  Use gem instead.
Rails 1.2.1

So, I don't know what's going on, but for some reason, my scaffold_resource works.
