Topic: attachment fu and windows

I've tried and tried. I couldn't get freeimage installed. I got mini_magick installed, but everytime I try Mike Clark's tutorial, I get the error 'Size is not in the list'. I found some people fixed this by putting a sleep statement in their controller, but this didn't work for me. Any help out there?

I don't know if this will cause problems down the road, but changing the :size parameter to start at zero worked for me.  Example:

has_attachment :content_type => :image,
               :resize_to => '100x100',
               :size => 0.kilobytes..500.kilobytes

Ya I ended up using that and another technique I found on the google group about modifying the uploaded data method. Also couldn't figure out how to install freeimage so I'm using mini-magick. Thanks.

Glad you have it working.  As an aside, the Rmagick/ImageMagick bundle installed surprisingly easily for me.  This is especially considering I am running XP Pro 64-bit (which causes problems with almost everything).  I had one little load error, but that disappeared as soon as I restarted my computer.
