Topic: [SOLVED] No cache is generated when hit by AJAX

I have a "show" action in my controller. If I request it directly a cache is generated but if requested with AJAX it is not. What could be wrong? It's like only GET is cached and not POST requests.

I have this in my Routes:
map.connect '/browse/*category_path/:category', :controller => "category", :action => "show"

This in my environment:
config.action_controller.perform_caching             = true

The cache directory is chmod a+rw.

This is in my controller:
caches_page :show

Re: [SOLVED] No cache is generated when hit by AJAX

Solved by using ":method => :get" in the options to the AJAX helper.
