Topic: osx -- editors

I have been looking at:

Xcode, rubymine, komodo, AptanaRadRails ... BBEdit
not really thinking eclipse at the moment.

I am an old timer with BBEdit ... and don't mind upgrading to the 9.0 version.
I stuck with BBEdit for so long because it could scan folders and folders for a line of code.  Almost better than Apple's solution called spotlight.

However, I was thinking that since I'm going to be crossing borders into R/R territory that it might be good to go to something that will make development life easier.

I do realize that everybody has personal choices but when it comes to punches which is going to make my life easier for Rails development?

If the answer lies go with what you like ... which of te above would you not recommend?

Thanks!!

my 930 goes weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :-)

Re: osx -- editors

You should consider TextMate... I'd go so far as to say that it's the "standard" editor for RoR.

I would not consider RadRails... I found it to be very slow and a little flakey.

Re: osx -- editors

You should checkout TextMate, also TextMate is good. I checked them then decided to go with TextMate.

Re: osx -- editors

I hope you didn't listen to the recommendations above. If you did, you just wasted your money. You should have gone with TextMate.
