Topic: Bachelor thesis

Hi all,

my prof proposed to me to write a bachelor thesis about the different test concepts in RoR. As part of the thesis i should write "test guidelines" for a RoR-project in the university.
I wanted to ask you guys, what you think about this idea and if you maybe have suggestions for test-related topics that might be interesting. I thought for example of a way to automatically create unit-tests out of existing methods in the controller (or at least test stubs).

Greetings
Andi

Re: Bachelor thesis

The test stubs get created for you when you use scaffolding.  So that would be a very short thesis.

There are lots of blogs and such that address testing best practices.  Testing is baked into Rails,  so you'd have to focus on best practices,  i.e. the tools are all there,  but how do you use them properly.

Joe got a job, on the day shift, at the Utility Muffin Research Kitchen, arrogantly twisting the sterile canvas snout of a fully charged icing anointment utensil.
