Topic: Best Ruby YouTube API?

Is there any Ruby wrapper for the YouTube API that has emerged as the best and/or most complete one? I guess what I'm needing is some wrapper that will let me pass in search key words and give me back video results.

One that I found is called youtube-g (http://github.com/tmm1/youtube-g/tree/master), it looks to be fairly recently updated. I'm having trouble finding others. Any suggestions?

Thanks smile

Re: Best Ruby YouTube API?

The last time I looked into accessing YouTube, I found QuarkRuby's write-up on accessing YouTube using ActiveResource. That was a while ago though.

The one you cite looks pretty decent. Here are a few others to investigate:

* http://github.com/dennmart/youtube_rest/tree/master
* http://github.com/edgarjs/youtube-model/tree/master
* http://github.com/mikedamage/ruby_tube/tree/master

Good luck!

Dead-simple / no dependencies / no api-key required
