Topic: rghost and unicode strings
i am using rghost to generate PDFs (https://github.com/shairontoledo/rghost/wiki) which is a really great gem. Works all fine, until i hit on a unicode string.
I simply cant get it to print characters like the German Umlauts öäü. Instead i get "fÃOEr" which should be "für". So what is the trick unsing it? Is there anybody who has seen the same issue?
Also I already contacted the plugin/gem author, but he couldn't really help me, too, so i would be really glad if somebody also using this gem could give me the hint to get it work correctly. Please tell me if you need any information.
I see this issue on Mac OSX Snow Leopard, Mac OSX Lion and on two Debian Squeeze (Linux) boxes.
