Topic: problem with edge rails stable branch install

I am running off the ruby 1.8.5 and rails gem 1.2.2; and when I do a rake rails:freeze:edge revision=6254, everything seems to install ok...

however whenever I try to generate something, say a model, I get this:

C:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `gem_original_require': no such file to load -- ./script/../config/../vendor/rails/railties/lib/initializer (LoadError)
    from C:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `require'
    from ./script/../config/boot.rb:16
    from C:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `gem_original_require'
    from C:/ruby/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/custom_require.rb:27:in `require'
    from ./script/generate:2
    from -e:3:in `load'
    from -e:3

What's going on here?

____________
i am also unable to unfreeze now also - get the same basic error:
rake aborted!
no such file to load -- C:/htdocs/cbdsm/config/../vendor/rails/railties/lib/initializer
C:/htdocs/cbdsm/rakefile:4

Re: problem with edge rails stable branch install

Ok, so apparently the edge install didn't place the railties folder in the vendor branch...

I got it working now. For future reference, any idea why this would fail?
