Out of curiosity, why? Extra geek points? smile

I'm happy with QWERTY.

Me too. And I don't think I can replace my laptop keyboard with a dvorak. big_smile

Re: Dvorak Typing

Think again, check out that Wikipedia link... there's a picture of a Macbook with a replaced Dvorak keyboard. big_smile

I'm happy with QWERTY, though.

It's like the metric system... maybe its a better system, but I'm already used to the other. wink

Re: Dvorak Typing

i dunno, i'm kind of enjoying the setup. I just read around and saw that some people like it; figured i'd give it a shot. it took ten minutes to switch my keys on my imac G5.

Re: Dvorak Typing

and how long to undo a lifetime of instinct? I couldn't even imagine the pain of trying to learn a dvorak keyboard. Maybe it really isn't that bad in actuality, but in my head it sounds like a nightmare.

Re: Dvorak Typing

it certainly makes you type as little as you can.

Re: Dvorak Typing

That wouldn't be so bad if it was still QWERTY. I mean, I know where all the keys are (I don't look at the keyboard when I type anyway).  But if it was Dvorak?  Forget about it. wink
