Topic: Prevent Rails from adding a trailing semicolon to my javascript file?

I'm making my way through the rails getting started guide. At the moment I have one controller and a one javascript file. They are named /controller/home_controller.rb and /assets/javascripts/home.js respectively.

When home.js is loaded in the browser, rails seems to tack on a trailing semicolon if there isn't one already. How do I make it not do this?
