Topic: rake with in rake [SOLVED]

I was getting ready to create my first rake but i got a error when i try to call a second rake.

my rake looks like

task :do_tests do
   bundle exec rake db:setup
   bundle exec rake db:test:prepare
   bundle exec rake spec
   bundle exec rake cucumber
end

this way i dont have to run all 4 of this command every time i make a small change

Let me google that for you: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5779 … rake-tasks

Re: rake with in rake [SOLVED]

i found that i dont really need a rake task to do this. I can create a function in my bashrc.local that looks like

do_testss(){
  rake db:migrate db:test:prepare
  bundle exec rake spec
  bundle exec rake cucumber
}
