Topic: Ruby Binding for C++

Is there a binding library which allows the use of ruby in a c++ application?

Thanks.

Not that I'm aware of.  BTW, Ruby is written in C.  What is it that you are trying to accomplish?

Re: Ruby Binding for C++

Before I knew how cool ruby is I was planning to integrate lua into my application (for scripting purposes), but now I hoped that it's also possible to use ruby.
I just want a scripting language to make the application more dynamic.

Re: Ruby Binding for C++

If you just want _a_ scripting language then you can take a look at the Python integration:

For Ruby take a look at this:

Re: Ruby Binding for C++

Thanks for the links.

No, I don't want _a_ scripting language I want ruby and when ruby is not available as scripting language I'll use lua.

Edit:
The articles in the link only refer to extensions written in c++ for ruby. That's not what I want. I want to use ruby inside my c++ application.
