Topic: Dead Drive :(

My Powerbook's hard drive just died and I lost the last 2 months of my hard work. I am so angry at myself for not being more vigilant with my backups.

At this point you really should be asking yourself.. "When was the last time I backed up?"

Do it now and make it a weekly habit or you will be sad like me sad

Re: Dead Drive :(

Bummer. Hope you can make up the work quickly. sad

Thanks for the reminder though, something we can all learn from. It's a good reason to use subversion as well.

Re: Dead Drive :(

We use SVN on another server and commit changes every night. The server's SVN repos are then backed up nightly as well smile No room for error really.

Re: Dead Drive :(

I am very thankful that I use Subversion. I havent lost any code which makes this a little less painful. It's too bad I didnt take the same precaution with my design or audio productions sad
