Topic: HotScripts on Rails

I caught this over on RubyInside.  HotScripts has just added a Ruby on Rails category: http://www.hotscripts.com/Ruby_on_Rails/index.html

Strangely, when I went to add Rails Forum into the resources section, it was already there.  As were a couple of our tutorials in the tutorials section.  And they were added by KelliShaver. Who is an admin here.  But the strange part?  She didn't add them.

In fact, she didn't know HotScripts had a RoR section until I told her 2 minutes ago (I only found out 3 minutes ago).  Spooky.  Someone at iNet is meessing with our heads.

Anyway, if you want to vote for the forum, that'd be cool smile

Re: HotScripts on Rails

Or maybe I really do have magical powers. *shifty eye*

Re: HotScripts on Rails

That's weird, maybe it's the other Kelli Shaver that's a Rails developer?

Re: HotScripts on Rails

Tath'd be even weirder, sort of.

Particularly if she had an artificial eye, a husband named Richard, and eight dogs.....

Anyone want a puppy?

Re: HotScripts on Rails

Maybe they slurped the data in from another site/database which Kelli entered Rails Forum into? Hmmm...

Re: HotScripts on Rails

I don't think I entered it anywhere, though, but I do have it in several forum sigs at many places that have other rails resources. So it's quite possible they picked it up from one of those.

Re: HotScripts on Rails

The only other thing I can think of is that Kelli does have a script entered at HotScript's that has a domain registered to me (same as railsforum.com), so maybe someone put two and two together... It's sort of odd regardless.

But I'm not complaining. big_smile
