Topic: Selenium errors in development mode

I am trying to run some tests using Selenium, and just because I am fixing a couple of errors on the fly, wanted to run in development mode.

My Selenium config sets up

environments:
   - test
   - development

But when I run the server I receive
`new_constants_in': You have a nil object when you didn't expect it! (NoMethodError)
You might have expected an instance of Array.
The error occurred while evaluating nil.empty?  from /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-1.4.1/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:202:in `load_file'

I have the same problem if I try and set "config.cache_classes = false" in my test.rb environment file.

Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Selenium errors in development mode

Ah. just phrasing the question here made me think of a Google query (selenium error cache_classes rails) I hadn't tried that pointed me straight to the answer: http://forums.openqa.org/thread.jspa?threadID=5147.

I am documenting it here for completeness and future reference.

Simply rename the Selenium plugin directory from selenium-on-rails to
"selenium_on_rails"
