Topic: Is remove a reserved word?

Hi all, I'm asking this questionn because, I named a javascript function remove(), and it's not working. I never changed any function body code, just the name remove and it starts working.(Any other name like remove1() works but not remove() )

Anyone got any clue, why this happens so?
Thanks
Chris.

Re: Is remove a reserved word?

I just looked at 5 or 6 lists of JS reserved words and none of them had "remove" in them. However, I'd still use a more descriptive name than "remove" for a function, how about something like removeElement() or similar?

Yeah, it works. Actually anything other than remove() works. Don't know why.
Thanks Chris
