Topic: ActiveRecord w/o Rails - Connecting but not really connected

I am using SQLite3 to connect to a local SQLite3 file.

And here is my log output:

Sun Jul 22 09:53:03 +0200 2007 (1540) Successfully connected to the database
Sun Jul 22 09:53:03 +0200 2007 (1540) Not connected

What could be causing it to 'successful' connect but then not really be connected?  And why would it not be connecting?  I have other Rails applications using the same local SQLite3 setup without any problems.

Re: ActiveRecord w/o Rails - Connecting but not really connected

Well, I was using SQLite3 and having issues with finding the appropriate working directory.  So, it appears that SQLite3 with ActiveRecord will actually open, as it creates a file if one is not there, but then of course it is not a real database so no real connection.  Seems a strange behavior of the SQLite3 driver...
