Topic: Wrap around a youtube video

Wasn't sure where to place this question.  I need to create a bit of javascript/xhtml and or css that will wrap around youtubes embed code.  All it will do is maybe display one line of text above the video, and have a javascript call back to my server where it will tell me someone has loaded this somewhere.  This is so that I can place this code outside of my server, but can still keep track of how many time it is loaded.

Does this sound plausible?  Should I indeed use javascript to make that call?

You can use JavaScript, it works fine for lots of Google functions. Alternatively, you can use an invisible image (1px transparent) ... you can pass parameters to the image request and track calls that way ... some advertisers use this approach.

Doing pretty good with your approach so far.  Thanks man.
