Topic: Testing javascript when page loads...

I'm trying to test whether users have javascript enabled when they first enter a page.  What I have is a div tag that basically says "Javascript is not enabled, please enable it...".  When the page loads, I replace that div that with a blank space " ".  That way, if the user has javascript enabled, he comes to the page and sees nothing.  If javascript is disabled, they will see the error message.  However, because I do this after the page loads, they see the message for a split second before it goes away.  Is there another way of doing this so that it removes the div tag before the page finishes loading, so the users won't see it disappear on screen, especially if things are going slow for them?

Re: Testing javascript when page loads...

Anything between <noscript> will show up if Javascript is not enabled:

<noscript>Javascript is not enabled, please enable it...</noscript>

Wow; that's powerful.  It saves me a lot of effort.  I didn't even know about the <noscript> tag.  Thanks, hbien; that helps a lot!
