Topic: SVN Host Recommendations?

I'm looking for a good svn host where I can have multiple users and check in/out files.

Does any one have any recommendations? I don't want to have to shell into the account to access files and would like some interface of sorts.

Thanks!

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

I use this: http://code.google.com/hosting/

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

I use CVSDude

Despite the name, they're a great SVN host.

I also use Dreamhost ... you get multiple SVN accounts as part of their hosting, and for the price, it's hard to beat.

I remember hearing that all the google hosting had to be open source projects, is that still true?

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

I use Dreamhost for my SVN stuff. Crazy space for the price and you can do email, web etc. hosting too.

I've been learning and experimenting and I think Unfuddle is pretty nice.  I'm using their free account.  They built it using Rails.

Sounds great.

Oh wait, it's a private beta. Does it come with any invites or do I just sit in the corner and cry?

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

Hrm. . . sorry. I got mine by signing up on the home page. I can try to email them and get some invites if you guys are interested. Email me via my website (in the footer).

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

Your site has an application error and therefore fails at loading. My email is radar@frozenplague.net. I get enough spam as it is, so I don't care about pasting this on an open forum

Sorry about that. I fixed it.

Anyway, I've got an email in to them, if I hear anything, I'll let you know.

Seems to have the best prices. I honestly just use my slicehost account -- heh.

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

I am looking for a svn host to manage my phD work. It's only text files.
Just want to work from anywhere, with a versionning system, and save my files . And I do not want to have anonymous download, only restricted access (I think it's impossible with google svn, is it?)

Does any one have any recommendations?
thanks

Re: SVN Host Recommendations?

The site that I have used and have been VERY happy with is www.projectlocker.com.  They are very inexpensive, and it just works.
