And congrats to you, Ryan, for taking home second place in the Most Useful category! smile

I'm not surprised that Amy Hoy's project took home the top prize. Freckle was really a beautiful app.  I hope she actually finishes and releases that site. smile

Congratulations ryan, and everyone else who participated.

Re: Rails Day 2006 Winners Announced

Evan Weaver put up a great tour of all the winners (with plenty of screenshots) over on his blog:

And he says, regarding Ryan's entry: "This is my personal favorite of all the winners."

Way to go, Ryan!

Re: Rails Day 2006 Winners Announced

well done, ryan!

Would you mind sharing the code? I'd love to have a play with that and see what it's like first hand.

I missed out on registering for railsday, but joined in the campfire chat and watched it progress. Will definitely join in next year if they do it again!

Thanks. You can access the SVN repository here:

http://svn.railsday2006.com/railsday/te … tor/trunk/

If I had done it again I would have done quite a few things different, but I'm still pretty proud of it. Some day I'll have to put it online.
