Topic: Best stats/analyser tools

Hello there, I'd like to know what tools are available to us Ruby on Rails developers in regard to error tracking, site stats, resource monitoring etc. Examples of stats I'd like to know:

* What images are giving 404 errors on my site
* Which pages / actions are loading the slowest
* What exceptions are occuring over the site
* The number of hits to pages (incoming links, browsers etc)
* Lost connections to external services (database)
* CPU usage / Memory usage over time etc

I've used various tools over the years but am looking for current methods to do this and I'd love to know what fellow Rails developers are using to monitor their sites

Thanks!

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

For site stats I always use Google Analytics.
And the exception_notifier plugin for errors.

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

I've been using logged_exceptions which is, well, exceptional!

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

Cheers guys, which tools (if any) do you use for hardware monitoring (CPU, Memory, Database usage etc)

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

God is good for monitoring processes.

Monit or Nagios.

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

I also like to generate graphs with the gchart library. You can also use soutapp.com or pingdom.com for external monitoring. Cheers

Re: Best stats/analyser tools

Thanks again, I'll definetly be looking into these.
Always open for more suggestions ...
