Topic: Caching Fragments - Storage Location

I'm trying to cache a fragment of one of my pages using <% cache 'chunk' do %>

I believe it's working because my development log says 'Cached fragment hit: views/chunk'

However, I cannot find where this cache is being stored. Does anyone know where it might be?

Re: Caching Fragments - Storage Location

I have the same problem ... I'm thinking its stored in memory, but I don't understand why that is the case since my /tmp/cache folder exists.

Re: Caching Fragments - Storage Location

Ahhh ... figured out the problem.
It uses memory except you specify this in the correct environment file

config.action_controller.cache_store = :file_store, RAILS_ROOT+"/tmp/cache/"

I was doing this

config.action_controller.cache_store = :file_store, "/tmp/cache/"

and not getting any love
